Thank you for the event [Nihonbashi Takashimaya Department Store

I am washi artist Hiroya.

A few days ago, our first event in a long time ended successfully. Thank you so much for your usual kind smiles, good times, and supportive supporters, and to all those who gave their support, it was nice to meet you. Thanks to you, this was our first event since the COVID‑19 Disaster, and we learned a lot. This was my first pop-up store since the Fall 2019 event and I had a great time myself. I honestly felt sorry for our supporters since it had been two and a half years since the last event, and I wondered if everyone would come. I was wondering if everyone would show up. The results were too much for me, and I gained too much and achieved too much. I stood in the store every day, served customers, which I am not used to (or rather, not good at), had dinner at night with friends and colleagues I have not seen in a long time, reflected on the day before going to bed at night, reflected on my words and actions, and felt grateful for them, and a week passed in a flash.

Thank you so much. Please keep up the good work. Washi artist Hiroya promises to evolve even further.
